  1. Athletic Commissions get paid their set rates and fees. The only time they make anything above that is if the event promoter is fined.
    Event promoters pay a filing fee, application fee, event fee and then have to pay for licensed State judges and officials. Typically the AC only will get around $200-$500 but it can get pretty high in terms of expense because AC require a doctor, legal documents, insurance and more to for a promoter to be permitted and licensed to hold an event.
