She’s always letting Sasuke and Naruto do all the fighting, and doesn’t have any real good Jutsu of her own. She’s kind of smart I guess, but does she ever get tough and kick butt?

In most combat sports, the athletes are grouped into weight classes with ridiculous names such as welterweight, flyweight, and bantomweight. Does anyone know where these names originated or who made them up? Obviously heavyweight, middleweight, and lightweight make sense but many of the rest don’t. Please help!

I live in the Baltimore area, but I am willing to travel up to an hour from Baltimore for a quality martial arts class. Please include links to websites and/or contact information/phone number with your answers. There are many choices in the area, and frankly it is quite overwhelming. Recommendations of schools to check out and/or schools that should be avoided are appreciated.

Sub question: What percentage of the pay per view buys does an athletic commisssion in the specific state that the UFC event was held get?

I currently run 8 miles a day. I’m 18 5’8 150lbs. I’m swithcing to MMA from hockey cause I stopped growing at 14. I have no martial arts experience but am going to start in 2 weeks when I get back from vacation.
