Is there a limit to what hard work and discipline accomplish?

If handguns were to be unlawful (like they used to be in DC), what kind of gun could possibly be used for self defense? In other words, what’s the smallest gun that is not a “handgun” but which still might be used in a “defense mode”?

I wanna learn martial arts but it has to be cheap!And which martial art is recommended for a rookie who has no experience in martial arts?

Why are females taught to do this in self defense?? It can cause death and if a female is defending her self from a male who isn’t trying to kill or rape her, she will get in trouble if she kills him.
I read how it’s taught in self defense classes and how it can cause death, so is this really something we should be teaching in those classes??
You aren’t allowed to kill someone in self defense, only if they are trying to kill you.
