I what to enroll on a class that teaches the kind of fighting that you could take on 2 guys (and they have hitting batons) and you come out victorious. The kind of fighting skills that I could use if I were to get mugged (by more then one guy) or if I was fighting agaisnst a man for my life (dramatic I knowm but just go with me). What kind of fighting styles should I learn, in what order, and where can I find these classes?

  1. I can only answer from my own experience… I image most good martial arts schools will teach you how to deal with these situations. I take TKD and my Grandmaster will teach us techniques to apply in situations such as those you describe. I imagine good karate schools, BJJ schools, etc will teach the same.

I’m getting the impression that you want to take Krav Maga, but talk to a couple of good karate instructors first to see if they.can teach you basic manuvers on how to disarm an attacker.

  3. find a system that utilizes weapononry – It would be hard to go against armed opponents if you are empty handed. however, there is no system that could guarantee victory.

  4. personally i would take boxing first, then kickboxing/, and then wrestling
you should look up some local MMA gyms near you
